Terms of Service
Effective date: May 17, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Leku. By creating an account, accepting an invite, using the service, or continuing to use the service after these Terms are updated, you agree to these Terms. If you use Leku for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
The Service
Leku is a project-memory workspace that helps teams store notes, transcripts, decisions, tasks, questions, sources, and related context. The service uses search, embeddings, and AI-assisted organization to help retrieve source-backed knowledge.
Accounts and Security
You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials, invite keys, API keys, and sessions secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Notify us promptly at legal@leku.app if you believe an account, credential, or workspace has been compromised.
Customer Content
- You retain ownership of the content you submit to Leku.
- You grant Leku a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, index, generate embeddings from, and otherwise handle your content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Leku service for you.
- You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit content to Leku.
- Deleting content or closing an account ends this license after reasonable time for deletion, backups, legal holds, and audit records.
AI Processing
- AI outputs, search results, summaries, extracted decisions, and suggested structures may be incomplete or inaccurate.
- You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for business, legal, security, financial, medical, employment, or other consequential decisions.
- Leku does not use your workspace content to train AI models or improve unrelated services.
- Third-party AI providers process customer content only as subprocessors for requested AI features and under their applicable business terms or data processing terms.
Acceptable Use
- Use Leku only for lawful business, project, and knowledge-management purposes.
- Do not upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, infringing, or invasive of another person's privacy.
- Do not upload payment card numbers, protected health information, government-controlled data, or other regulated data unless we have agreed in writing to support that workload.
- Do not bypass access controls, probe other customers' data, interfere with the service, scrape the product, or overload the service beyond published or reasonable rate limits.
- Do not reverse engineer the service, use the service to build a competing product, or attempt to extract source code, models, credentials, or non-public system information.
- Do not share credentials, invite keys, API keys, session tokens, or other account access with unauthorized users.
Third-Party Services
Leku uses subprocessors and infrastructure providers to operate the service, including providers for authentication, hosting, storage, AI processing, analytics, and error monitoring. Our Privacy Policy and Security page summarize the current posture and subprocessor categories.
Business and Regulated Use
Customer-specific security questionnaires, DPAs, BAAs, data residency commitments, service-level commitments, regulated workload terms, and enterprise compliance terms are not available by default and require explicit readiness confirmation plus a separate written agreement. Unless and until that agreement is in place, do not use Leku for protected health information, government workloads, payment card data, export-controlled data, or other data requiring specialized contractual controls.
Service Changes and Availability
We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We try to maintain reliable service availability, but unless a separate written SLA applies, we do not provide a specific uptime commitment.
Termination and Deletion
You may stop using Leku at any time. If account deletion tools are available for your workspace, you may use them from account settings after signing in. You may also contact us for deletion support.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or if we are required to do so by law. Sections about customer content, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law, and payment obligations survive termination.
Disclaimers and Liability
- The service is provided as is and as available to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from data loss.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, goodwill, data, or business opportunity.
- Our total liability for claims related to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Leku in the 12 months before the claim or 100 US dollars.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the service, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
